How we create Your Dress

At Aneej Jack we understand that every bride has her own unique and personal vision for her perfect wedding dress. Through an involved process, we aim to make your dream come true.  We use couture sewing techniques to lovingly finish your dress.

 

To make sure you have your dream dress on your wedding day, we would like to set out our process below. The process is the same for Bridesmaid, Mother of the Bride and Evening wear.

 

Design and Consultation

The first stage will be an informal consultation (free of charge) with Jaco to discuss your dress. You are welcome to bring all your ideas in the form of pictures and sketches to this meeting. If you prefer Aneej Jack to design an unique dress for you, we can assess your figure and guide you through suitable styles and colours that will enhance your personal attributes.

 

Our Process

- During the first meeting we will discuss the style, fabrics and colour options for your dress. A rough sketch is drawn to confirm the design of your dress. We will talk about the timeframe and your budget.

- A written price estimate is sent to you for your consideration, outlining the details discussed during your first consultation. This first consultation is free of charge, and you are under no obligation to order the dress from us.

- To secure your order, a 25% deposit will be required, redeemable against the full agreed price of your dress, allowing further research into fabrics, colours, beading designs, etc.

- A further meeting will be required to confirm the finer details of your design and taking your measurements. The first pattern will then be made to your exact measurements.

- The first two fittings will be in a calico toile to determine the fit, design and the overall styling of your dress for your consideration and satisfaction.

- From this point your dress will then be cut in the final fabric. A minimum of four fittings are required for a wedding dress.

-All the meetings and fittings will take place at our studio in Limehouse, about five minutes   away from Canary Wharf, London.

 

Timeframe and Ordering

A rough timeframe layout will be given at the second meeting. Most brides order their wedding dresses between 6 to 12 months before their wedding. Jaco can however work to tighter schedules, with a minimum delivery time of 8 weeks, depending on other projects. Evening wear can be delivered in a shorter timeframe.

 

Pricing

Bridesmaid and Evening dresses start from £90 depending on fabric choice and design.

Wedding dresses start from £800 depending on fabric and design.
