Jaco was born in South Africa and discovered his love for sewing at an early age while still
at school. He started making clothes for himself and his family, but it quickly developed into a way of earning pocket money during holidays.
After moving to London, Jaco started presenting sewing classes at Departure, an Art
Centre in Limehouse. It was during this time that he was asked to help with a wedding
dress for a friend. It was a big success and the company Aneej Jack was established.
Jaco’s studies at the London School of Fashion and Sesay School of Sewing equipped
him to take on any design of your choice. It is from the studio in Limehouse that
Jaco designs and creates beautiful, ethically manufactured wedding gowns and bridesmaids
dresses.
Jaco believes that every woman can be the princess of the fairy tale in
an Aneej Jack creation. She can look and feel good in a dress specially designed
to compliment her body and to fit her budget. Jaco enjoys working closely with the clients
to transform their ideas and requirements into a reality. He will use drawings and
fabric samples to work towards a final design and costing. Jaco uses a variety of
different fabrics to suite everyone’s taste. Have a look at the 'Your Dress' page
to see the process.
